Evironmental Monitoring

 

ZonePod can accommodate an extensive range of sensor options to fulfil a whole host of monitoring requirements. Apart from setting high and low alarm thresholds for the temperature and humidity sensors no additional configuration is required.

The sensors are supplied with an interface cable of 0.2m or 5m and additional extender cable lengths are also available.

Temperature monitoring in computer rooms to provide early warning of air conditioning failure.
Smoke monitoring in all kinds of environments where 24-hour notification is required.
Leak detection in retail outlets, restaurants etc where an overnight leak could have a catastrophic effect.
Power monitoring where standby power is available but knowledge is required regarding when power failures occur, and duration of outages.
Humidity monitoring where condensation can seriously affect the operation of electronic equipment.

Thresholds

Open / Closed configuration option for all other sensors (auto set-up for sensors other than the universal sensor)

On screen monitoring (either through sensor type or sensor reading, user configurable)

Alerts
Via voice or SMS messaging. 4 programmable messages along with a common message. Ports 1, 2 and 3 have individual messages and 4, 5 and 6 use a group message.

Step 1: Plug-in sensors to ZonePod
Step 2: Configure required thresholds for temperature / humidity sensors (if used)
Step 3: Record alarm messages and input required detail for text messages
Step 4: Input required telephone numbers
Step 5: Connect ZonePod to telephone line
Step 6: Turn dialler override off

ZonePod can be wall-mounted using the cutout slots on the rear of the unit. Individual alarm messages can be configured for sensor ports 1, 2, 3 and a “group” message for ports 4, 5, and 6.

The versatility of ZonePod means that in effect it can be used in a wide variety of environments. Sensors can be connected in any combination for maximum flexibility. This makes it a perfect solution for both small and large organisations alike.
